Close game until Mets break it open late. Big hits by Collins and Curtin, and 3 hits for Garofano. Curtin went the distance for the win while striking out 12. Morrison and Gerrish had 2 hits each for Blue Sox and Steed pitched well in the loss.

Monti gets his 50th win as a pitcher. Anderlionis picks up the save as the new tides closer replacing the ineffective Jeremy Winters after last weeks lazer show against him. Hart was a mess on the bases not scoring from 3rd on a ball back to the back stop and on the next pitch as rob linn hit a deep grounder to short with less than two outs. Linn was obviously upset at Hart which he should be costing the clean-up hitter an rbi.
