When 2 of the best teams in the league go head-to-head, expect no less than a very competitive game. This much anticipated matchup lived up to all the hype. It was a heated battle between the 2 division leaders of the MABL.

The Blue Jays jumped out on top early, scoring one in the top half of the 1st. Riggieri then silenced the Jays bats until the 5th when Jay Thomas would hit an RBI single to put the Jays on top 2-0. In the bottom of the 6th, the Grays bats came alive. They scored 2 runs to tie the game at 2-2. Neither team could manage a run in the 7th forcing extra innings.

The Jays failed to score first in the top of the 8th allowing the Grays to go to work in the bottom of the 8th. Patrick Potter lead off with a BB for the Grays. Tad Beagley sac bunted Potter into scoring position at 2nd. Enters Mike Gulinello! "Gu" blasted a 1 out wall-ball double to RF scoring Potter from 2nd giving the Grays the W in dramatic fashion.
