Ryan Hagan pitched 5 solid innings to earn his second win in a week for McKay Club. The offense exploded in the second inning as the Beacons batted around for 6 of their 8 runs. There were 8 hits in the inning, including a bases clearing triple by Jack Owens. Adam Kulis and Connor Reinfurt pitched the 6th and 7th, respectively, to complete an 8-2 win over the Brighton Braves. This was McKay Club's 20th win of the 2010 season.

Rockies get Troy Sainsbury his first win of the season.

Revere scores 4 runs in the 1st highlighted by a 2 run double by Brian Misci. Brighton answered with a solo shot in the bottom of the 1st by Shaughnessey.

Game from there was a back and forth battle with the Revere Rockies coming out on top.

Aj Bucciarelli, Nate Laliberte and Sean Glavin were a combined 10-13 w 6 runs scored, 4 rbi's and 3 stolen bases.

Gary Kaye's three-run homerun in the bottom of the sixth-inning gave the Savin Hill Hornets their seventh victory in nine games. Starting pitcher Nick Young went all seven, striking out nine and walking just one. Dave Clarke's lead-off homer in the first started the scoring for the Hornets.

For the Brighton Braves, Ted Tracy had three hits, and Evan Schein went the distance striking out eleven batters.

Malden, MA - Jason Paul struck out ten as the Malden Bulldog beat the Brighton Braves, 2-1.

Paul allowed the Braves to score one run, unearned, on three hits in his five innings of work. Jon Shepard tossed the final two innings to record the save.

The Bulldog scored their two runs on a Brad Tardugno sac fly in the first and a Mike Terrio RBI fielders chioce in the third.

Krieger pitched well in defeat.

Blaine McLain won his first game of the Season, going 5 stong innings, allowing 3 runs, only two earned, striking out 5, walking 2 and giving up only 4 hits.

Mike McGlaughlin closed it out. DH Sean Callahan hit a 2 run homer in the first inning and Center Fielder, Pete Byron scored 3 times.

Sam Shaughnessy hit a 2-run homer for the Braves.

Rockies push 6 across in the top of the 2nd on 5 straight hits, 8 total in the inning, 5 of them of the extra base variety. Adam Del Rio had 2 of the extra base hits with a triple and a double in that inning. Thats all Tom Levett would need as he picks up the win.

Joe Valarese had 3 RBIs for Brighton on a bases clearing triple in the bottom of the 5th.

The Braves collected 8 hits and scored all their runs in the 3rd and 4th innings. Steve DeFusco pitched excellent in relief for the Dodgers shutting down the Braves offense for the rest of the game. Joe Valarese was perfect at the plate for the Braves going 4-4, 2B, 2 R.

Evan Schein worked out of jams all night for the Braves on the mound scattering 7 hits in 6 2/3 innings of work to improve his record to 3-2. Joe Schlesinger came in with the bases loaded and the tying run at the plate in the 7th. He gave up an infield single but retired the next batter to secure the win for the Braves and earn his second save of the season.

For the Dodgers offense, Tapper was on base 3 times with 2 BB and a HPB. Smith and Patrolia had 2 hits a piece.

The Braves score 6 in the 6th to pull off a great come from behind win and steal one from McKay Club. The Braves compiled 2 walks, HBP, 2 singles, each with the bases loaded, to lead the comeback. Evan Schein had 2 hits in the inning and had a stellar night at the plate, finishing 3-4, 2B, R, 3 RBI. Darrow gets credit for the win while Schlesinger held on in the 7th allowing a leadoff hit but striking out 2 for his first save of the season.

Mike Barthel started the scoring in the first for McKay with a two-run shot into the trees in right. Eight of the starters for the Beacons all had a hit a piece.

James Greeley allowed 3 hits and the Minutemen's only run in the first 2 innings but shut down their bats for the next four innings as the Braves snapped their 3 game losing skid. Lochiatto closed the door in the 7th to earn his 2nd save. Hudson, Tracy and Schein had the RBIs for the Braves.

Reynolds, Blanchard and Walsh had the hits for the Minutemen.

Knights win again!

After losing 10 games to start the season the Knights have won two in a row. Starter Steve Maycock got the win for the Knights after pitching 5 strong innings. This game was close until the Knights opened it up in the 5th inning with 4 runs capped by a Steve Baldassari 3-run blast to give the Knights some breathing room. Pedro Flores came in, in the 6th and nailed down the team's first ever save.

For the Braves Evan Schein hit a triple in the 4th for the teams first hit resulting in an RBI.

The field was a little soggy but the rain held off to allow the Braves and Dodgers to get this one in. Greeley pitched a 2 hit complete game gem and the Braves bats finally came to life collecting 13 hits. Greeley's perfect game was ended with 2 outs in the 4th on a throwing error. Greeley then left a fastball up to Tapper who clobbered it to deep left center for a double to break up the no hitter. Ryan had the other Dodgers base knock with a single up the middle in the 6th.

The Braves offense was led by Tracy and Cashman who both went 3-3 at the plate. Cashman also collected 2 RBI. Krieger and Hudson each had 2 hits with Hudson providing 2 key RBIs.

Miller pitched well in relief for the Dodgers collecting 5 SO in 1 2/3 innings of work.

The Braves and Knights locked up in a pitchers duel at EB Stadium. Both starters had no hit bids ended in the 6th. Knights starter Stephen Maycock started off wild in the 1st allowing 2 runs on 3BB but cruised for the next 4 innings. The Braves collected 4 consecutive singles in the 6th to break up the no-hit bid and add some insurance runs.

Braves starter Evan Schein's no-hit bid was also ended in the 6th on a Geoff Harris triple to right that got past Greeley on his dive attempt to try to preserve the no-no. Jose Polanco had the other hit for the Knights in the 7th.

Schein helped himself at the plate going 1-2, 2RBI, Run. Shaughnessy, Krieger and Mozill had the other hits for the Braves.

Matt Manganelli went 5 strong innings for the Cyclones tonight notching his first vicotry of the season. Manganelli allowed just 2 runs on 1 hit while striking out 4 and walking 6.
Kevin Loveless earned his first save in 2 innings of work allowing 1 hit and 1 run.

Offensively Sam Kennedy-Smith went 2 for 2 with one RBI and 1 run scored. Jay Thomas and Ryan Bere both added big doubles and Thomas sparked the offense with 2 RBIS.

Krieger and Foundas had the two hits for the Brighton Braves.

The Brighton Braves and South End Astros go nine without anyone coming out on top. The Braves trailed 5-1 entering the bottom of the third when Sam Shaughnessy launched a 3-run blast to right to pull within one. Herer's 2nd triple of the night scored 2 in the 5th to take the lead. South End tied it up in 7th when Brighton failed to turn a double play and the ball got by the first basemen. Herer led the Braves offense going 3-4, 2 triples, 2 RBI and BB.

Malagon, Adames, Sanjurjo and Figueroa all had 2 hits each for South End and Melo (3 IP, H, 3 SO) had a great outing in relief to keep the Braves scoreless the final 3 innings.

Black Sox end two game skid behind Jared Rooney's complete game. Rooney scatter four hits to pick up the win and improve his record to 2-1.

The Black Sox broke out a bit offensively collecting twelve hits as a team. Steve Tramontozzi and Bill Reichmann each had three hits a piece, while Tim Varakis chipped in with two hits.

Tracy, Kreiger, Cashman and Herer all had hits for the Braves.

Another strong outing for Braves starter Kyle Darrow that resulted with a no decision. Darrow allowed only 2 batters to reach base until the 5th when the Black Sox got on the board with 3 runs on 2 hits, BB and a Braves throwing error. The Braves fought back scoring 2 in the 6th and 1 in the 7th. Schlesinger pitched well in relief of Darrow (2 IP, 1 H, 2 K) to pick up his first win. The Braves offense was led by Evan Schein who laced 2 doubles and had a run scored. Gill had the game winning RBI in the 7th.

Ross had 7 K's in 2.2 innings of relief for the Black Sox. Owens had 2 hits for the Black Sox. Tramontozzi, Skeffington and Kurzon had the other hits for the Sox.

The Cyclones saw and early 3-1 lead get away from them and had to battle back and tied the game 5-5 in the top of the 7th.They re-took the lead 7-5 in the top of the 8th and held on for their 3rd victory of the season. Sam Kennedy-Smith picked up his second win of the season, while Pat Sueltenfuss continued his hot streak going 4-4 with 3 rbis.

Brighton, MA -The Malden Bulldogs (3-1)powered their way to their third straight victory tonight beating the Brighton Braves, 23-0.

Bulldogs starting pitcher Evan Tardugno (1-0)allowed just three hits in his complete game shutout performance. Tardugno also fanned 8 while issuing zero walks and a hit batsman.

Mike Terrio and Kenny Luongo collected five RBIs each while Tom Englehardt went 4-for-4 at the plate. Also recording a perfect night at the plate were Chris Deane, Zack Thompson and Luongo.

Evan Hudson, Evan Schein and Ryan Gill registered hits for the Braves.

The Braves offense finally showed some life leading to their first victory of the season over Savin Hill. Braves scored two in the first on a Hornets error and a Sac Fly by Ouellette followed by three in the 6th on a 2-run double by Brien and a Gill RBI single. Schein had some control issues early but worked through them to earn his first win throwing 6 IP, 4 H, 2 ER and 4 SO. Lochiatto picked up his first save closing out the 7th.

Ternaglia, Sterenson, Strassmann and Weber all collected hits for the Hornets.

Chris McDonough tossed 5 strong innings of 2-hit, 9-k ball on a frigid opening night as the Al Thomas Club defeated the Brighton Braves 5-1. Dan Gaughan and Matt Edgerly each threw a frame to close out the game.

Steve Lambert's 2-run double off the fence at Healy Field drove in the first two runs of the game, and Chris McDonough, Brendan Wheeler and Peder Von Harten added run-scoring hits, and Mark Daly went 2-2 with a walk to pace the offense.

Nick Foundas pitched well for the Braves, while Hudson had 2 of their 4 hits.
