Kevin Curtin gets his 4th straight win with a complete game shutout, striking out 10. Jeff Coveney plates the winning run with a sacrifice fly, and Barry Kruse hits his first triple of the day high into the trees at Cassidy. Wayland wins despite squandering several runs in an inning that featured some unusual baserunning. For Brockton, Kevin started the game with a double and turned several smooth plays at short.

without a warm up as usual steve montiero goes a comlete game with no earned runs. brockton finally has most of its team. n andoveers D was awsome. mark berube went nuts at the plate. too many other players to mention hit well in the 2nd game. jason connors pitched 5/23 innings in the first game only giving up 4 hits in a tuff loss

9am comes early in Brockton (especially if you're out til 4:30) and Waltham must have left their gloves at home so it's a good thing they brought the bats. Countless errors and several non-error miscues might have made this one of the worse defensive games Waltham has ever played with the exception of a Colin Confoey diving catch in center and a nice running catch by Miguel Walker in left, but they did pack the bats. Brockton had an early lead until the Waltham bats woke up. Dana Levensaler led the way going 4-5 and picked up the win on the hill and Mike Barthel had a multi hit game.
