The North Andover Thunder and the Cambridge Cantabs played a neutral site game at Chelsea High School on Wednesday night. The game pitted several former Thunder players against their former team, a friendly grudge match of sorts. In the end, it was the Cantabs who prevailed behind strong pitching from Bill Rolls and Dave Carlson, as well as the 7-9 hitters (Prentice, Beck, Conley) who combined to go 5-7 with 3 RBI. The Thunder got a good pitching performance from Paul Laurin and Donnie Lindsey, as well as 2 doubles from Walter Carmichael. The Thunder and Cantabs next meet on August 14 in Arlington.
