The White Sox win a hard fought series in 3 behind a complete game masterpiece by 2009 Cy Young winner Rich Wlodarczyk. Wlod scattered 3 hits over 7 while striking out 11.

After giving up 1 in the first, Neil Doherty held the Sox in check until the 5th. The Rangers tied the game in the third on a Timothy Sheflin RBI single.

With 2-outs in the 5th, series MVP TJ Gardner smacked an RBI double. The Sox would build on their lead in the 6th with RBI doubles from Jon Pollard and Mike Morgan.

The Rangers were a tough opponent. Chris Plant, hands down the best defensive shortstop in the league, had a tremendous series, as did Andy Katz in the field and at the plate. Dan Lambrecht showed an iron arm, pitching effectively in all 3 games.

Ivan Clemente, Morgan, and Gardner each had 4 hits in the 3-game series. Gardner drove in 5 runs and hit 3 doubles. Each double put the White Sox ahead in each game, 2 were game winners.

The Rangers forced a game 3 in an exciting extra inning contest. Chris Plant doubled home Andy Katz with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th for the game winning run.

The White Sox took the early lead in the 3rd inning on a Mike Morgan single. In the bottom half, the Rangers struck for two runs on a Chris Plant single and a passed ball.

Down to their last two outs in the 7th inning, White Sox rightfielder T.J. Gardner scored the tying run on a Jonathan Pollard fielder's choice.

Dan Lambrecht got the win for the Rangers, after relieving Shane Steffens in the sixth inning. Steffens scattered just 4 hits in 5 and two-thirds innings of work.

Game 3 will be played Tuesday night at a field TBD.

The White Sox take game 1, staging an exciting comeback victory. Anthony Tomaro took the mound in his first start back from breaking his pitching hand. He gave up 4 Runs, 2 ER over 4 innings.

Matt O'Hara picked up the win in relief throwing 2 key scoreless innings.

Trailing 4-2 in the bottom of the sixth, the Sox loaded the bases against Dan Lambrecht, who was very strong over 6 innings. With two-strikes and two-outs, TJ Gardner smacked a bases clearing opposite field double to left giving the Sox a 5-4 lead.

Jon Pollard came on in relief in the 7th. After retiring the first batter, Chris Caprio walked and stole second. Pollard then struck out the final two batters to earn the save and seal game one for the Sox.

For the Sox, Josue Feliciano was 2-4 with a double, a SB, and 2 runs scored. Ivan Clemente was 2-3 with 2 RBI.

For the Rangers, Chris Plant was 2-3 with an RBI and a BB. Timothy Sheflin was 2-3 with a run.

Cutters win behind a complete game win by Ken Kilduff to secure the #1 seed. Kilduff-7ip, 3H's, 5BB's and 8K's.

Ranger struck 1st with a Katz RBI single in the 3rd. Cutters push across 5 in the 4th. Ells leadoff with a single followed by back to back doubles by Fecteau and Crossman.

Duffy picks up the win, Fecteau stays hot and Cross picks up GWRBI

The Rangers bats came alive against the Brewers on Sunday, as 11 runs crossed the plate on 13 hits. Dutton collected 3 hits and scored 3 times out of the leadoff spot, and Doherty pitched strong through 7 innings to pick up the win.

A little history: two years ago (August 19, 2007) the O's and Rangers locked horns in one of the longest games in MABL history. Former Oriole Bryan Healey threw a complete game, lasting all 13 innings, while Rangers hurler Shane Steffens matched him through the first 12.

This one wasn't much shorter. In a highly dramatic, back-and-forth game, the O's pulled it out in 11 innings, overcoming three late-game deficits. In the final inning, Eric Fudeman had the GW-RBI with a single up the middle to score Jose De Los Santos with the winning run.

Neil Doherty went the distance for the Rangers to earn his 4th win of the season. Great defense and 2-out hitting were the themes of the game for the Rangers.

Centerfielder Paul Bracco made a diving catch in the bottom of the 4th inning to save a run and shortstop Chris Plant was a vacuum at shortstop.

The Rangers scored their two runs with an RBI double by Shane Steffens in the 1st inning and and RBI single by Andy Katz in the 4th.

The Spinners put together a late rally in the 7th., but fell just short. Eric Hannah (7 IP, 2 R,5 hits) pitched well for the Spinners.

Cutters win at the Camden Yards of the MABL Clifford Park. Kilduff pitches 5 strong to pick up the win. Every starter for the Cutters picks up a hit. Stars on the day include Mike Fecteau 4-5 3R's 2 RBI's, AJ Bucciarelli 3-4 4r's and Greg Crossman and Tony Ramos who had 3 rbi's a piece. I want to send well wishes to T-Bones Huevos which got hit during the game..

Backed by Mike Gentile's complete game effort, the Brewers won their second game of the season 2-1 over the Rangers. Gentile allowed one earned run on five hits, while striking out two for his first win of the season. Sean Delrose singled and later scored on a Stephen Melville single in the second inning. In the fifth, Jake Furey singled and scored on a Steve Pinner base hit. The Rangers cut the lead in half in the sixth and had a runner on third in the seventh. A game-saving catch by John Robles and a flyout to centerfield clinched the game for the Brewers.

The Rangers won a nail-biter on Saturday, scoring the go-ahead run in the 7th against the Tigers. Lafo had a clutch RBI for the Rangers and Doherty pitched well through 6.

The Rangers rallied in the 5th to defeat the Blue Jays and pick up their 7th straight win of the season. Paul Bracco led the offense with 4 RBI while Chris Caprio picked up 3 hits and a pair of runs. Jon Hart pitched a solid game, but did not earn a decision.

The Rangers will look to keep the streak alive against the Cutters on Sunday morning.

With the game tied 3-3, Jason Kennedy singled home Chris Plant to win it for the Rangers in walkoff fashion.

The Mariner offense continually put pressure on the Rangers through the middle innings. They loaded the bases in the 5th, but the Rangers escaped trouble with a web gem double play started with a sliding stop by shortstop Chris Plant.

Jon Hart pitched 3+ solid innings for the Rangers,and Shane Steffens earned the win in relief.

Mariner John Miller pitched well in relief allowing just 1 run in 5+ innings.
