O's complete the doubleheader sweep, riding the arm of Bo Gillette who threw a complete game with 10 K's. The game was tied at 2 heading into the 6th when Josh Misiph drove in Nick Tapper to put the A's ahead. The O's answered right back as Chris Buckley and Julio Gonzalez each delivered clutch two-out RBI's. Gillette make the lead stand up in the 7th by striking out two of the final three batters, stranding the potential tying run on 2nd base.

The O's punched their playoff ticket with a hard fought 4-3 win, led by Mike Stasio who pitched a complete game 3-hitter. Offensively, the hero of the game was Jose De Los Santos, who went 4 for 4: with the Orioles down 3-2 in the 5th, Jordan Krall led off with a double before De Los Santos crushed a HR to right-center, staking the O's to a 1-run lead which they would not relinquish. For the A's, Andrew Billig hit a solo home run and made a phenomenal catch in center field, robbing Krall of another extra base hit.

Stasio wins his 5th, and De Los Santos goes 4-4 with a 2B and HR. Billig hits a HR and flashes the leather in CF.

After a tough loss the night before,the Spinners came in to Sundays game looking to pick up a big win against a strong A's team. They would strike first with a run in the top of the 1st. Ricky Salvia would then take the mound for the first time this season and did not let up an earned run for 7 innings. In the bottom of the 7th with the score 2-1 Spinners, the A's would try to rally back. With men on 1st and 2nd Eddy Perez would hit a bomb to lf scoring 1 run easily, the winning run would try scoring but was beat to the plate by a perfect throw by Omar Caceras that sent the game to extra innings. In the top of the 9th the A's pitching struggled and walked in 2 runs, followed by a Greg Megerdichian 2 run single giving the Spinners a 4 run lead. Jose Bahamonde who relieved in the 8th pitched 2 shut out innings giving the Spinners the victory. Another big contributer to the Spinners win was Joe Tufo who made 3 huge catches in RF.

Jon Naumowicz hits a two-out walk-off single to score Mike Morgan and give the White Sox the victory. Kevin McGowen of the A's and Matt O'Hara of the Sox were locked in a scoreless pitcher's duel for most of the game. Rich Wlodarczyk's RBI single gave the Sox a 1-0 lead. Nick Tapper of the A's answered with a 3-run triple followed by a Santi Mazzeo RBI double. Trailing 4-1 in the bottom of the 7th, the Sox rallied for 4. Wlodarczyk had 2 key hits out of the DH spot. Nate Butcher and Naumowicz each had 2 hits. Jon Pollard picked up the W out of the pen. Alan Donaruma had a 2 hit day but took the loss out of the pen for the A's.

In a well-played game all around, the A's come out on top behind a gem pitched by Talal Saleh. Saleh pitched 6+ innings, allowing only one hit and one run. After Saleh walked the leadoff man in the 7th, Steve Kapuza came in to close the door for the save. Offensively, Nick Tapper hit a two-run HR into the pool, and Santi Mazzeo and Patrick Vetter hit rockets for doubles, Vetter driving in the third run with his. For the Tigers, Scott Stevens had an RBI single in the 7th.

In what was a soggy early morning game, the A's took down the Grays in a quick-moving game. The Grays scored first, plating one in the bottom of the 1st, but that would be all as some great defense helped Kevin McGowan toss a complete game. Offensively, Justin Komins had two hits and an RBI, to go with tossing a would-be base stealer from behind the plate. Alan Donaruma also had two RBI on a deep ground rule double to right.

The Mariners ended their 7-game skid by upending the Athletics with clutch pitching from Matt Dumont and Jamie Aldoupolis, and timely hitting from Jeff Rausch, Corey Aldoupolis, and Nate Knowles. Dumont pitched 4 innings of no-hit ball until Jay Lamoureux launched a solo homerun into the pool to lead off the 5th. Kyle Breidenstine followed with a single and eventually scored, making it a 5-2 game. The A's loaded the bases in the inning with 1-out, but Jamie Aldoupolis came on and struck out Alan Donaruma and Nick Tapper to end the threat. Offensively, Jeff Rausch (3-4, 3 Runs), Corey Aldoupolis (1-3, 3 RBI) paced the offense, and both Josh Abreu and Nate Knowles notched doubles in the winning effort. The matchup had further significance, as it pitted two of the Mariner career stat leaders against each other in Jeff Rausch for the M's and Alan Donaruma for the A's, who together logged 193 games in a Mariner uniform.

Ed Perez also had an RBI for the A's. Bobby Shady took a tough loss, allowing only 2 hits through 5 IP. Chris Buckley had two hits for the O's.

With the score tied in the 6th inning, Jason Skypeck (batter) and Chris Caprio (runner) successfully executed a suicide squeeze to take the lead for good. Alan Donarama pitched well for the A's, allowing just 3 hits.

In a wild game, the Grays were able to hold off a resurgent A's team for the victory. Offensively, the Grays were led by Paul Branche (2 for 4, 3 RBI, 2 2B) and Jerry Holly (3 for 4, 3 RBI). With their help, the Grays had jumped to a seemingly insurmountable 11-0 lead by the end of the third inning. However, the A's had a monster 8 run 5th inning capped off by a grand slam by Santi Mazzeo to bring the game within reach. Even though the A's scored two more in the 6th and 7th, Grays reliever, Nick Infusino, was able to pitch a strong 2 2/3 innings to secure the victory for the Grays.

Bottom of the 7th 2outs with the tie runner at 3rd, Nelson gets a ground ball to the short stop for the complete game victory. Great game played on both sides!!

The game was tied going into the fourth when Nick Tapper smoked a HR to right center. The A's would add some insurance in the seventh to put this one away. Patrick Vetter also went 3-for-4 in the victory.
