Somerville scored first on an RBI Double by Justin Crisafulli, scoring the on base machine Sal Mendonca to make it 1-0. An error on the next play scored Crisafulli to make it 2-0. The Bluefish finally responded in the 5th. Chris Hartery's SF made it 2-1, and after an error to tie the game, Sean Glavin's RBI single to right made it 3-2 Bluefish. Demers went 6 up 6 down from there, propelling the Bluefish to a 3-2 win, and advancing the Bluefish to the Semifinals. Hats off to the Alibrandis, who were complete class throughout the series, and should be commended for one of the best runs in Amateur Sports, not only in Boston but anywhere. |
