Boston Havoc 14, Boston Lobos 1
The Boston Havoc remain undefeated, stringing together their 12th win. The Havoc banged out a 14-1 victory in a mercy-shortened 5 innings versus the Boston Lobos.
The Lobos jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead in the first inning after Aquiles Tejeda was hit with a pitch and Chris Baez singled him in.
But the Havoc were hungry like the wolf. The squad gobbled up 9 runs in the second inning, with 2 hits in the frame by Omar Ortiz, Andrew Mateo, and Manny Dias. Ortiz would finish the day with 3 hits, as would Ryan Foley, who also smashed a monster triple.
John Medina improved to 4-0, allowing just 2 hits, a walk, and an earned run with 6 strikeouts in 4 innings of work. League save leader, Brandon Buckley, pitched a scoreless final frame, without a save. He wasn't even disappointed.
Still hungry, the team had pizza delivered to the field upon the game's conclusion. |
