The Havoc picked up where they left off last season, winning their home opener versus the Bandits.

The Havoc pitching staff was dominant. Havoc pitchers combined for 18 strikeouts, allowing no walks, and just 1 hit -- a seeing-eye single by the first Bandit batter of the game, Johnny Roop.

John Medina notched 10 K's in 5 innings of work, allowing the lone hit. Nick Powers pitched 1 inning and recorded a rare 4 strike out performance after a dropped third strike. And Nate Perkins struck out the side in the seventh inning.

Havoc bats were explosive in the 4th inning, where they scored 7 of their 9 runs. On the day, Thomas Quinn and Kyle Zeberlein both had multiple hits, while William Marsh, Cam Plank, and Jordan Siu each drove in multiple runs.

Manager Omar Ortiz was in attendance, but did not play due to injury. This snapped a 102-consecutive game played streak by Ortiz.
