Sun, 15 May, 10:00AM, at Nissitissit - Pepperell (Game 1 of DH)
Pepperell Red Dogs 10, Granite State Rockies 3
The Red Dog bats came out hot in Game 1 of their doubleheader with the Rangers, led by Cory Dows and newcomer Ben Wright. Dows drove in 4 of his fellow Dogs with 2 big doubles, while Wright had a solid debut, going 2-4 with a double and 2 runs scored. Wright was also solid behind the plate, calling a spectacular game for Ryan Baldinelli.
Baldinelli was dominant all day against the Rangers, tossing a complete game in his first start of 2016, striking out 12. The man they call "Blades" had the Rangers off balance all day, mixing up his junk and painting the corners, leading the Dogs to their 4th victory of the season. |
