The story of the game may be that the Dodgers found an unusual closer of sorts, SS Brett O'Keefe closed out 5 of the 7 Malden innings with plays at short, 4 of them with men in scoring position. Keith Kelly tied the game in the sixth with a solid 2-out single down the right field line. However, when the throw to the plate allowed 2 runners to move up, O'Keefe gobbled up another ground ball.
