Story of the game...Tom Manning took a perfect game into the bottom of the 7th for the CC Indians but was foiled by Rich Ring's leadoff double. Ring would later score on a passed ball with 2 down but the Tribe take game 2-1 as Manning finished with a 1 hitter. Steve Mineo pitched well for Brockton surrendering single runs in the 1st and 7th on RBI singles by John Sheppela and Jim Tosches. Both teams played errorless ball.
