Wayland scored 4 runs in the 10th to defeat Brockton 9-5. Joe Calderella went 4-4 with 4 rbis, including a 2 run double in the 10th which missed being a homer by a few feet. Steve Wolf, Kevin Locke, Mike Ganley, and Mike MacClary all had 2 hits each. Kevin Locke went 7 strong innings for Wayland. Brockton scored a run in the 8th, and a run in the 9th to tie the game at 5 off of Dana Johnson, but he was tough when he needed to be as he pitched out of a bases loaded jam.
