The Dodger bats stay red hot in a huge win over the Beacons on a sticky Wednesday night at Mcconnell. With 3 runs in each of the first 3 innings the Dodgers grabbed an early 9-0 lead off Dubela. Chris Michienzi kept the potent Beacon lineup off balance through 3, but couldn't hold as they broke through for 4 runs in the 4th and the 5th. The Dodgers plate 5 runs in the the 5th to blow the game open and needed every run as Mckay made a game of it with 3 more runs in the 7th. Dougie "Fresh" English grinded through the last 3 innings to get the win for the Dodgers. Huge 3 hit games for Billig, Ryan and Foote. Ryan apparently had an epiphany early in the game and after referring to himself in the 3rd person multiple times, promptly homered past a diving CF for his first career YBL HR. Foote also had a mammoth homer to right. Tambling and Rokiki both homered for the Beacons and Caputo had 4 hits. Back to the grind.
