Lexington loads the bases in the top of the first but do not score. After that, Joff Smith cruised through 6 and Steed did the same for Lexington. Walsox makes a pitching change and Lexington gets 2 in the top of the 7th. Waltham comes back to take the lead. Matt Mitchell doubles in 1 run and Tim Varakis singles in 2 more to put Waltham ahead to stay. Jay Wisner throws the 8th and strikes out the side in the 9th. Walsox defense was stellar for the second game in a row and Varakis also makes a great play diving to rob a hit at second base.
