More impressive than the 18-run assault by the Brewers was that Franz Strassmann who pitched the complete game in Game 1 came back to pitch Game 2 and took a no-hitter into the 6th inning. Kevin Colmey broke up the no-no on a clean single to left. Owen Carlson then entered and forced a double-play to end that threat. The only other Orioles hit was a 7th inning double by Larry Riddley. The Brewers big inning was a 10-run 5th capped by a BJ White 3-run homer and a Jimmy Creedon triple to the outfield bleachers. The Brew Crew improved to 6-1, while the Orioles fell to 1-5.
