A great baseball game Monday nite as the Tigers pulled ahead late to hold off the Cutters 8-5 at Fallon. Earl Murphy's rbi single in the 3rd helped the Tigers jump out to an early 3-0 lead before the Cutters rallied with 4 runs of their own in the bottom half, highlighted with a Del Rio (2-3, 2 R) rbi single. The Tigers tied the game an inning later on Mike Knell's (2-4, RBI, R) single and would knock Richards from the game in the 5th, loading the bases and plating 4 runs capped with Gib's bases loaded single to score 2. Rich Wlodarczyk (5 in, ER, 4 H, 3 K's) threw well in his return to the Tigers rotation. J. Lam picked up his 1st save of the year pitching a clean 7th to end the game. Knell, Murphy, Mikey Vernon, and T. "Cadbury" Walsh all had multi-hits for the Tigers. Booch and Del Rio each had two hits for the Cutters.
