Scituate-Duxbury and Wellesley played a fine 10 inning game at beautiful Babson College. Kudos to the Monarchs for getting the field. The field being immaculate aside (cleaner than my living rom carpet), the Mariners squeezed out a 5-3 win. Kroeger went 7 giving up one hit. Cassidy goes 3 getting the win to improve to 5-0. Garcia and Woloski had triples in the 9th. GWH to Godino on the suicide squeeze. Griffin pitched well for Wellesley, and the middle of the Wellesley line-up came up big in a 3 run 8th that tied the score. Humid as a Alabama shrimp shucking factory.
