Brewers pitching was fantastic, led by All-Star starter Cary Atlsalis who didnt allow his only hit until the 5th inning, in a 6-inning shutout performance. Aram Manoukian tossed the final 3 frames, allowing just one hit and an unearned run in the bottom of the 9th inning. Offensively, all 12 Brewers in the lineup contributed at least one hit. Joe Creedon led the way with 3 hits, while Josh Weinstock had 2 (including a triple). Robert Moschella, Brett Rudy and Franz Strassmann also had a pair of hits. The third Creedon, brother Dan, visiting from Texas, chipped in a hit and RBI's in 3 of his 4 at bats. For Brockton, the lone run in the 9th came when Robert DeMarco was hit by a pitch and advanced to 2nd when Les Webber walked. Brian Ulatowski plated DeMarco on an infield chop that was too hard to handle. Dave Joseph also tossed 8 gutsy innings for Brockton in defeat.
