Despite horrible defense and many missed opportunities Wayland beat a scrappy Plymouth team 7-6 in 10 innings. It was a pitchers duel after 8 innings with Plymouth leading 3-2. Plymouth added 2 runs in the top of 9th to go up 5-2, but Wayland scored 3 in the bottom of 9th to tie it. Wayland had the bases loaded 0 outs with the winning run at 3rd but failed to score after that. Plymouth went up 6-5 in the 10th, but Wayland scored 2 in the bottom half to win it.
