Very well played game defensively on both sides on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon in North Andover. Mike Johnson spun a gem and made several great defensive plays off the mound, including grabbing a great bunt and nailing the hitter by a step at first. Tim Bradley hauled in several drives out in RF. Waltham's lefty had the NA batters fooled most of the game. Their defense spun a 5-2-3 DP in the bottom of the 1st to kill an NA rally, and their catcher picked an NA runner off 3rd on a 1st/3rd steal. NA put it away in the bottom of the 9th with a leadoff bunt single by Mike Quinn who scored on Steve Noone's infield hit, and then a walkoff squeeze play, Gregg Bromley getting the bunt down to score Noone from 3rd.
