After no runs and 7 hits in their first meeting, the Braves and Cyclones combine for 13 runs and 18 hits tonight as the Braves prevail 8-5 at Rogers. The Braves offense was led by James Ramsdell going 2-3, 3 RBI, 1 R, BB and SB. Braves second basemen Russ Murachver made 2 great plays after Cyclone base hits throwing behind the runners at first to get the outs. Eric Lochiatto let up a hit but faced the minimum in the 7th to get his first save.
The Cyclones offense was led by Chris Brown going 3-4 with 2 runs including a monster 2 run triple in the 6th. |
