The Maddogs swept the season series from the Rockies in a close game that ended with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th. Chris Wood in his first appearance on the mound this year went 4 2/3's before giving way to Lamar Rey. Rey finished the game to go 2-0 on the year. The big defensive play came in the 4th when Center fielder Chris Neil, who also had 2 hits, threw out a runner at the plate with a laser beam to catcher "Goose" Gusdorf. Steve Panza hit the first Maddog homer of the year and Buddy Hanley got his second consecutive bases loaded pinch hit. Jalbert went 3-3 with a walk and an HBP to go along with a run scored and 2 RBI's for Revere.
