Cutters 2, White Sox 0
In a battle of first place teams, the Cutters edged out the White Sox in a crisply played game. Scoreless in the 6th, Greg Crossman led off with a triple. Adam Del Rio then knocked a single to right to score Crossman. Tony Ramos brought in Del Rio with a bomb double to left to give the Cutters the 2-0 lead. Ramos also shined behind the dish throwing out two would-be base stealers and picking a runner off second on a failed bunt attempt.
Matt Richard pitched 5 2/3 scoreless innings to earn the win. Steve Roberts closed out the final 1 1/3 to earn the save.
Mike Pollack had 3 hits for the White Sox. Anthony Tomaro pitched well through four innings but had to leave after getting hit by a pitch.
