Mark Infurna of the Mooney Dental Tanners pitched a gem, allowing only 2 Gately hits and 1 run. The Gately A's scored their lone run in the 2nd inning when Jamie Gath was driven home by a line drive to center from Bill Manley. Ricky Salvia collected the only other A's hit and stole a pair of bases in the contest. Mooney tied the game in the top of the 5th when Kelley and Stanzler reached on back to back singles, were moved over by a Doyle SAC, and had Kelley score on a ground ball to 2B from Fiore. In the top of the 7th Smith singled, made his way around the bases, and eventually scored on a single to left by Fiore.
