What a game-- very exciting and hard fought by both sides! Every time the Orioles took a lead, the Cutters responded immediately. Entering the 7th in a game tied at 2, the O's appeared to break the game open, scoring three runs capped by a two-run single by Jordan Krall. But the Cutters would not go down easily, loading the bases with nobody out. They proceeded to plate two of those runners through a walk and a throwing error. With two outs and the tying run on 3rd base, pitcher Jay Thomas bobbled a grounder back to the mound. On his hands and knees, he managed to recover to record the out at first and secure the win. For the Orioles, Kevin Bell pitched five solid innings in his first pitching appearance of the season, striking out 6. Mike Diccico of the started for the Cutters and matched him pitch for pitch.
