The Tigers win in a pitcher's duel as Houlding and Cosentino battled in the heat at Ryan Field. The Tigers scored first on a JP double followed by a Morgan rope down the right field line. JP scored what would prove to be the winning run in the 5th after a BB and a couple of throwing errors. The Grays proved formidable once again as Cosentino held the bats relatively quiet and was able to work out of a couple of jams, but some costly errors and timely hitting led the Tigers to victory once again as they tacked on 3 extra runs in the 6th after a lead-off single by Long, a couple of errors, Pane was HBP to knock in a run, JP followed with a SF to knock in Giblin, and Sway ran around the bases and scored on a WP.
