The "good-twin" McKay Club showed up at Ronan to play Al Thomas on July 5. These teams have had a classic rivalry for 20 plus seasons. This come-from-behind Beacon win was a throw-back to the good old days! Thomas has done the McKay Club in this same situation in the past. Important to the progress of a struggling Beacon team was this night at the yard. Dan Ciocca, put on a gutsy 6 inning performance against the raining Cy Young winner - Scott Jamieson. Ciocca gave up 8 hits and 3 earned runs. He was relieved by Sean Sullivan who was the benefactor of a 4 run 7th inning rally. Aiden Powers was 2for3 scored 2.
