The Maddogs continue to get outstanding pitching. Sean Morrissey made his first start of the year and went 6 shutout innings allowing only 3 hits, walking 2 and striking out 6. Mike Hudd pitched a scoreless 7th while walking 2 and striking out 2. The Dogs defense has also been up to the task. Shortstop, Buddy Hanley came up with a couple of web gems and firstbaseman, Darren Josey dug out a couple of throws to preserve the shutout. Offensively, catcher, Jay Sablone had 2 hits and an RBI and Johnny Cunningham also had 2 hits and scored twice.
