OUCH! The Storm busted out the sticks today as they beat the Tides (minus a few folks) 15-4. Marsters got the win, surrendering only 2 hits & fanning 7. Offensively, Winant & Finnegan (2 to right, just like his throws to 2nd) each tossed in 3 hits. Sheppela (5 rbis), Campana, & Cadra each added 2 respectively. Random notes...Special guest JT (starring as himself), had 1 hit, 1 rbi, 2 "California triples," & pitched a perfect ninth. Winant (Kroeger-mini-me) was picked off first base in the 8th, continuing the stellar Storm baserunning streak. Kroeger, the intended starter, showed up late due to "Cape traffic." Funny, considering the entire Scituate team, & JT (stayed in Bourne the night before) all made it there before he showed up....BIG Kangaroo Court Fines!!!!!
