Ed Newton starts the scroing in the first with a bases clearing double. West Rox gets one back in the 2nd and ties it in the 4th with hits by Diodoto and Oggeri. Rooney scores for the 3rd time in the 5th on Diodato's triple who later scores to give the Bluefish a 5-3 lead in the 6th. Volante (7K's) is relieved by Greely in the 7th who has a quick 1-2-3 inning. Ferrara comes in for West Rox to close out a good game by Ninteau but Cannon fights back. Davis leads off with a double, Sabatino draws a walk and they pull off a double steal with one out. Newton hits another double for his 4th and 5th rbi's on the night when Sabatino scores from second and knocks the ball free at the plate. With Newton on third, Colon (4 for 4) drives in the game winner with a single to left.
